What is China's myth system?

China has several mythological systems, which are not unified with each other. They are Buddhist myth system, Taoist myth system and China ancient myth system.

The ancient myth system of China is divided into four systems, namely, the myth of West Kunlun, the myth of East Penglai, the myth of South Chu and the myth of Central Plains. The myth system of West Kunlun respects the Queen Mother of the West, the myth of Penglai in the East respects Dong, and the myth of South Chu respects Pangu.

The myth system of the Central Plains takes three emperors and five emperors as its respect. The highest god in Buddhist mythology is the Tathagata, and the highest god in Taoist mythology is the Jade Emperor, which was recognized by the ancient government of China. Later novelists' writings have become strange and mixed, and they have reached the extreme. The Journey to the West's worship of Buddhism and suppression of Taoism, and "Romance of the Gods" worship of Taoism and suppression of Buddhism are not credible.
