A18th century bamboo root carving frog was sold at Christie's online auction in Hong Kong for HK$ 2125,000, far exceeding its highest estimate of HK$ 600,000. As a result, this bamboo frog, which is only 7 cm long and only the size of a palm, has been dubbed the most expensive toad in history by the antique circle.

At present, there are mainly the following judgments on the authenticity of bamboo carvings. One is the authenticity of the year, which is generally copied and made old.
