[Zi Ping] is much more academic than [Dou Shu]. This is because [Zi Ping] compiled a book "The General Meeting of Three Fates" in the Ming Dynasty after sorting out the history of Wan Yu, and the information was complete. Later, Chen's university students in the Qing Dynasty perfected it in theory and wrote a book "The Doctrine of the Mean", which applied Confucianism to numerology, and then annotated the book "Descending the Celestial Bodies" to interact with [The Theory of Numerology].

On the other hand, although there are ancient books such as [Wei Zidou's Complete Books] and [Wei Zi Wenweilu], due to poor editing work and lack of theory in inferring language, people who compiled books in the Ming and Qing Dynasties did not earn [Wei Zi Dou Shu] except [Taoist Collection]. I'm afraid it's because it is said that its inventor is Chen Xiyi, and his fame in Taoism is too great, so he has a bit of a "take too much" mentality.

At the same time, it is too much trouble to set dishes in Wei Zi, which is not as convenient as the eight-character heavenly stems and earthly branches four pillars, so it is also the reason why the eight-character is more popular.
