Solution of bud grafting method

1. Cut a T-shaped interface in the tree first.

2. Pull out the skins on both sides.

3. Take a complete bud.

4. Put the bud tip in the bark.

5. Wrap it with adhesive tape.

6. Bud grafting is to cut off a part of the first branch, then stick the buds together and tie them tightly with tape.

7. Grafting does not need to be complicated, the method is simple and the survival rate is high.

T-bud grafting, also known as shield bud grafting, usually adopts 1~2-year-old rootstock. When grafting, select a smooth and scar-free part from the rootstock 5 cm above the ground, cut a T-shaped incision to reach the xylem, then cut off the bud, and cut it into the xylem from the lower part of the bud with a knife, with a longitudinal length of about 2.5 cm.

Then cut a knife from about lcm above the bud, then hold the bud by hand and break off the bud piece. When inserting buds, use a bud grafting knife to pick the T-shaped interface, gently insert buds from top to bottom, so that the upper part of the buds is aligned with the T-shaped transverse incision, and then bind them with plastic strips with a width of 0.5~ 1cm.
