Geographical environment of Aoping town

Aoping Town is located in the northeast of Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province, on the north bank of Xiaoshi River. East to shifang city, south to Junle Town and Sanjie Town, west to Gexianshan Town and north to hongyan town. 1985, the township was merged, and it was still called Aoping Town. The area is 29.7 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 338 10 mu. It governs 3 neighborhood committees in Aojiachang and 17 villages. The total population of Aoping Town is 30 187, including 3244 non-agricultural people. Mainly the Han nationality, there are six ethnic minorities such as Hui, Tibetan and Tujia. Aojiachang, the government residence of Aoping Town, is 2 km away from Tianpeng Town/kloc-0. Aoping town has convenient transportation, and the Shi (Miao)-Peng (Zhou) highway passes through the territory. Ao (Ping) Guan (Kou) Highway and Shipeng Highway are connected in a zigzag shape, which is an important passage of the tourism ring road in western Sichuan. Aoping Town has complete infrastructure for economic development and a good investment environment. Transporting natural gas to towns; Cable TV network and telephone have entered the village; China Mobile and China Unicom network cover the whole territory; Cultural, entertainment and commercial service outlets are all over the main streets of the town, which is the commercial and logistics center of the third district in northern Pengzhou.
