Since the establishment of the Association, due to the correct leadership of the Street Party Working Committee and the great attention paid to the work of aging, the Association for the Aged has carried forward the glorious tradition of respecting the elderly, and strived to develop towards the goal of "providing the elderly with a sense of security, medical care, learning, doing something and having fun", strengthened the standardized construction of the Association, constantly improved its working mechanism and actively carried out activities to respect the elderly, so as to make the community a harmonious society.

First, party organizations attach importance to and earnestly strengthen the standardized management of associations. Under the unified leadership of the general party branch workstation in Longhongge community, the consolidation and development of the elderly association has always been put on the agenda as an important task. Since the establishment of the Association for the Aged, the organizational structure has been continuously improved, the working system has been improved day by day, and activities have been carried out normally. Under the leadership of President Cai, the work on aging is systematic, planned and summarized, and it keeps close contact with the general party branch and workstation in the community, and gives full play to the role of the activity place according to the articles of association.

Second, the members of the association exert their waste heat to do practical things for the elderly.

Every member of the association is an old comrade with a strong sense of service and affinity. With their rich work experience and dedication, the association has become an indispensable intimate home for the elderly inside and outside the community. At the same time, the association also actively assists workstations to carry out poverty alleviation and disability assistance activities in their respective jurisdictions. On the eve of the Spring Festival and the Festival for the Elderly, assist the street and community work departments to carry out love activities for the elderly who are lonely and destitute, and create a good atmosphere for the society to respect the elderly; Mobilize the enthusiasm of members, participate in the construction of socialist spiritual civilization with the elderly, and assist neighborhood committees to do all the central work.

Third, enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the elderly and improve their ideological and moral quality.

In order to arouse the second youth of the elderly and let them play their residual heat, the Association for the Aged has made a lot of efforts. The association actively encourages and leads the elderly to participate in health public welfare activities, organizes the elderly to carry out voluntary patrols, elderly conflict mediation teams, physical fitness and cultural and recreational activities all year round, and advocates a scientific and healthy lifestyle. Under the correct leadership of the Street Party Working Committee, with the active cooperation and support of retired old party member and veteran cadres, Longhongge Community Senior College was successfully completed, and all eight classes were full. Whether it is a major festival or an ordinary charity performance competition, there are old people dressed in colorful costumes, singing and dancing, showing their elegance and dancing their love for life.

In the first half of this year, Longhongge Community Senior University achieved remarkable results and gained a lot. For example, on May 9th, the fifth anniversary celebration of the Nanlian Nursing Home, our waist drum team went out for an extraordinary trip; On June 1 1, senior students of our college participated in a large-scale public welfare performance in Guangdong Province in Weizi Garden. On June 15, in the 7th Community Art Show of Longcheng Street, the sketch of the art class of my senior university was unanimously recognized as the Excellence Award by the judges and experts, which was the only honor won by the primary school senior university in Longcheng Street and even the whole Longgang District. On June 29th, the teacher and all the team members won the special prize for their high-quality performances in the fifth exhibition and exchange activity of Taiji Chuan Fitness Qigong, a series of national fitness activities in Longcheng Street. On June 28th, in the brand project exhibition competition of the seventh anniversary of the Beautiful Sunset Civilization Mutual Aid Team, the program participated by Longhongge Community won the gold medal again.

Love melts nectar and moistens things silently. Longhongge Community Association for the Aged is such a team that pays attention to contribution but not return, especially Comrade Cai.
