Proportion of China National Orchestra

Folk Orchestra is a kind of band type developed in China in modern times, which is based on China national musical instruments and then studied the compilation of western symphony orchestras. In the early years of the Republic of China, it was advocated by the government of the Republic of China, also known as the Chinese Orchestra. In Chinese mainland, it is also called folk music group or national orchestra. It is called Chinese Orchestra in Hong Kong and Chinese Orchestra in Singapore. Some people think that the more accurate name is Modern China Orchestra (English) to show the difference with the traditional ensemble in China.

The main instruments played by the national orchestra

● The number of professional orchestras is about 60-80.

● Command one person.

● String instruments: Gao Hu (about 3-7 people), Erhu (about 10-20 people), Zhonghu (about 3-5 people), cello (or 6- 10 people with gehu), double bass (or 2-3 people with double gehu).

● plucked instruments: (about 65,438+0-4 people), Pipa (about 4-6 people), zhongruan (about 4-6 people), Da Ruan (about 4-6 people), Sanxian (65,438+0 people, a few tracks are used, usually played by Ruan Xian players), Zheng (1).

● Percussion instruments: * * There are about 3- 10 people. Generally, one person manages many instruments. Commonly used musical instruments are Paigu, China Drum, Bangu, Tanggu, Timpani, Xiao snare drum, Dajun Drum, Xiao cymbal, Da cymbal, Xi Jun cymbal and Gua cymbal.
