Wooden keel must be fixed with dry wood square (moisture content is less than 16%) and keel special screws, but it should be noted that the moisture content of keel should not be too low, preferably around 14%. It's too dry, it's very easy to split the nails and the grip is poor. The selected keel cannot have bark, and insects are easy to grow where there is bark. The four sides of the keel should be full, and it is not good to lie on the side. Sometimes there is a little seam where the keel joins, which is irrelevant.
