By the end of June, 2020, Huadu District had four sub-district offices in Xinhua, Huacheng, Xinya and Xiuquan, six towns in East China, Huashan, Tiemian, Shiling, Chini and Tanbu, and eight in Xinhua Street, nine in Huacheng Street and Xinxin/kl.

There are 64 community neighborhood committees in the whole district, including 32 Xinhua Street, 9 Huacheng Street, 4 Xinya Street, 6 Xiuquan Street, 5 Huadong Town, Huashan Town 1, Tiemian Town 1, Shiling Town, 3 Chini Town and tanbu town City 1. There are 1980 villagers' groups and 225 residents' groups in the region.

The local dialects in Huadu District are mainly Cantonese (vernacular) and Hakka. Cantonese is widely spoken in the whole region, accounting for about two-thirds of the total population, mostly distributed in streets and towns such as Xinhua, Huacheng, Xiuquan, Xinya, Huashan and Tanbu.

The population of Hakka language family accounts for about one third of the total population, mostly distributed in Timian Town and Shiling Town. Chini and Huadong Town are mixed with Hakka dialect, and the four villages in Huadong Town mainly use Minnan dialect.
