When a leaf turns yellow or curly, consider whether it is caused by one or more of the following factors.

1, temperature is too high or too low. Haocai likes warm and humid environment, and the suitable growth temperature is 2 1-28℃ during the day and 18-2 1℃ at night, and the highest temperature cannot exceed 35℃. High temperature is not good for growth, but long-term exposure to 10℃ is also easy to cause plant growth retardation, and leaves or bracts turn red, white and pale. 2. Improper fertilization. The flowering period of good luck is in winter, and the flowering period needs sufficient fertilizer. Usually, rare organic liquid fertilizers are applied once every two weeks, such as bean cake, sesame sauce residue soaking solution (20% concentration is appropriate), soybean soaking solution or fermented rice washing water. When fertilization is insufficient, there will be a lack of nutrients such as nitrogen in the basin, resulting in sparse branches and leaves and thin yellow leaves. It is necessary to pour the pots in time, replace them with new loose and fertile culture soil, and gradually apply dilute and decomposed liquid fertilizer or compound flower fertilizer. But if too much fertilizer is applied, the new leaves will be thick and uneven, and the old leaves will wither and fall off. At this time, fertilization should be stopped immediately, and the amount of watering should be increased to make the fertilizer flow out from the drainage hole at the bottom of the basin, or the basin should be poured immediately, and the clods should be washed with water before being planted in the basin.

3. The lighting is not up to standard. In order to make colorful leaves bloom brightly and regularly, illumination is very important. There should be at least 4 to 5 hours of direct sunlight every day in winter. In rainy days, you can use lights to increase the light. Seedling pots should be placed in the shade in summer, and indoor cultivation can also be shaded as needed.

5. Soil quality. Haocai is suitable for the growth of loose, fertile and humus-rich soil. For home cultivation, 2 parts of peat soil can be mixed with 1 part of fine sand to prepare culture soil. Generally, the soil bought from the flower market is suitable for plant growth. Pay attention to the soil quality when adding soil at the back.
