Flowers in the park bloom in batches. In spring, winter jasmine, peach blossom, tulip, magnolia and rose are in full bloom. When these flowers fade, the park becomes greener. Some unknown flowers are quietly blooming.

There is a kind of flower that stands out. It is colorful, purple, pink, white and red, full of flowers, and every flower is full of spirit. Looking closely at the petals, they are as delicate as satin, sometimes reminding me of fresh snow ears, and sometimes making me feel that the blossoming stamens made of crepe silk are soft and lovely, and there are dazzling yellow stamens around them. Ziwei also has a name called Hundred Days Red, because Ziwei's flowering period is very long, "starting in April and May and ending in August and September", which is praised by many poets. Xue Hui in the Ming Dynasty wrote: "Osmanthus fragrans is the longest, rotten for ten days, summer is over autumn, and new flowers continue to branch out." Yang Wanli's poem "Who said that flowers bloom for a hundred days, crape myrtle blossoms for half a year".

Lagerstroemia indica slowly accumulates strength and nutrition in spring, and does not compete with flowers. From summer to autumn, it stretches its posture and blooms heartily. Therefore, Bai Juyi praised Wei Zi for "monopolizing wheatgrass for summer scenery, and not nurturing spring breeze with color". Tu Mu wrote in the poem Wei Zihua, "The new branches in the autumn building in Xiao Ying do not occupy the most spring in the garden. Peach and plum have nothing to say, but they laugh at the sunshine in the wind. " Wei Zi is not mentioned in the whole poem, but it is very subtle and profound that the poet praises Wei Zi for not competing with flowers for spring and not fearing the bleak autumn wind to decorate the noble character and dignity of beautiful autumn. Li Shangyin's "A tree is full of beauty, and the autumn rain is light" is in sharp contrast and conflict with Ziwei's rich appearance and hazy rain, which highlights the unique beauty of Ziwei, and at the same time, the poet uses things to express his feelings and has ulterior motives in his poems.

Lagerstroemia (flower) also has a name called prurigo (flower). "Qunfangpu" says: "Osmunda japonica has several glumes, and one glume has several flowers. It is not enough to say that every time the breeze comes, the devil is shaking and the dancing swallows are amazing. It is completely shaken with claws, so it is named' tickling flower'. " After reading this poem, I smiled, as if remembering the posture of the centipede tree and hearing its laughter. In fact, Ziwei is ticklish because the trunk thickness is not much different, the branches are dense, many branches extend far away, and there are many flowers and bones on the tree, which makes the center of gravity of Ziwei unstable, sensitive when it shakes, and the branches and leaves move. In the poet's view, "infatuation is better, but exposing bullies is especially oblique."

Lagerstroemia indica is also called skinless tree. At first glance, I can't guess why. I have never seen a tree without skin. It turns out that Lagerstroemia speciosa is different from ordinary trees. The bark of ordinary trees will thicken or be rough with the growth of tree age, but Lagerstroemia speciosa, on the contrary, young Lagerstroemia speciosa not only has rough bark, but also grows new skin after peeling every year. But when the bark falls off at a certain age, no new skin grows, leaving a smooth and clean trunk. There is a poem "Apes can't be agile", which describes that a tree has no skin and is so smooth that even monkeys can't climb it.
