These six Mazu statues are divided into hard body and soft body. What is a hard body? It is carved from a whole piece of camphor wood, and it is also called Mazu in the town hall because it is not convenient to move. Flexible body, that is, Mazu's four limbs can rotate flexibly, which is convenient for changing clothes and traveling.

It is understood that among thousands of Mazu Tempel in the world, Wushi Mazu in the old city is one of the six golden statues of Mazu, carved with black agarwood.

During the Cultural Revolution in the 1960s, this black-faced Mazu statue was in danger of being burned. Local villagers Lin Tianlai and Lin Shou took risks after hearing the news, and tried their best to hide in the back cave for protection, so that the black-faced Mazu could be well preserved.

Zhangpu wants to build a 28-meter-high statue of Mazu.
