2. Sulfur powder has special effect on root rot. Flowers and trees are prone to root rot and plant death. Many drugs are difficult to be effective and can be treated with sulfur powder. For example, Clivia often causes root rot due to excessive watering or unclean culture soil, knock it out of the pot, remove the culture soil, cut off the rotten root, rinse the root with water, dry it a little, spray sulfur powder when the root is slightly wet, and then plant it with sterilized culture soil, and new roots can grow in about one month; If the roots are rotten, you can spray sulfur powder and plant it in plain sand, and the leaves are often sprayed with water. After the new roots grow, they can be cultured in sterilized culture soil.

3. Sulfur powder has a special effect on curing juice rot. After the old leaves and yellow leaves of Cycas are cut off, the glue will continue to flow; Figs, banyan trees, etc. White juice will flow after pruning, which is easy to be infected; After Clivia blooms and bears seeds, cutting flowers and arrows is easy to shed juice and even cause rot. At this time, sulfur powder can be sprinkled after cutting. According to experiments, cut flowers and trees that shed juice stop bleeding when they meet sulfur powder, and can heal quickly. After cutting the roots of newly planted stumps, applying sulfur powder at the incision can also prevent infection and rot, enhance stress resistance and promote rooting.

4. Sulfur powder has special effects on the preservation of cut flowers and trees. Generally, cutting flowers and trees are first inserted into plain sand, then rooted and then moved into culture soil for culture. If it is directly inserted into the culture soil, it is easy to rot and the survival rate is low. However, if the cuttings are dipped in sulfur powder immediately after cutting and then inserted into the culture soil, rot can be effectively prevented, not only the survival rate is high, but also the seedlings grow healthily. If the cuttings of camellia and rhododendron are dipped in sulfur powder and directly inserted into pine humus disinfected with potassium permanganate, the survival rate can reach above 90%.

5. Sulfur powder has a special effect on improving the survival rate of grafting. Grafting interface is the most susceptible to infection, affecting survival, and can be disinfected with sulfur powder. For example, after grafting crab claw orchid and fairy finger with triangular arrow or cactus, immediately spray sulfur powder at the wedding seam to shelter from the rain for 3 days. Even if it is not covered with plastic bags in the future, it will not be infected and rotted, and the survival rate will reach over 95%.

Agricultural application
