How to make essential oil?

Prepare a still.

Step 2: Obtain raw materials. Materials that have not been crushed/ground are the best.

Step 3: Dry the plants, although it will reduce the amount of oil, but because you will be able to accommodate more raw materials in each batch, it will greatly increase the output.

Step 4: Add water to the jar of the still and use clean water. The softer the water, the better. Distillation time depends on plant species.

Step 5: Add plant materials into the distiller, wrap them tightly, and don't chop them up to avoid the loss of essential oil, then put them on a false bottom or grate, and try not to touch the distiller wall.

Step 6: Turn off the still and continue to heat the water. The temperature of releasing essential oil is about 100~2 12 degrees Celsius.

Step 7: Pay attention to the distiller to ensure that the water will not be burned dry, and the water in the condenser can be replaced according to the length of time to ensure cooling.

Step 8: filter that collected essential oil, distil, and filtering with dry gauze/dry cotton cloth, wherein the clean dry gauze/dry cotton cloth can prevent the essential oil from being polluted in the filter process.
