Free and fun attractions include Xichong Beach, Dutch Flower City, Dafen Oil Painting Village, Shenzhen Central Park, Bijiashan, Donghu Park, Litchi Park and People's Park.

Originally named "Reservoir Park", Shenzhen Donghu Park is located in the east of Shenzhen, bordering Wu Tong in the east, Yanhe Road in the west, Shensha Highway in the south and Ai Guo Road in the south. Founded in 196 1, it was officially opened to the outside world on 1966 and passed through Shenzhen 1984 in June. 199/kloc-0 was listed as a provincial-level scenic spot in Guangdong province in April, and was awarded the first batch of "garden-style" standard units in May, 2000/kloc-0.

Donghu Park is a comprehensive municipal park with the earliest establishment, the largest area, many scenic spots and perfect facilities in Shenzhen, which integrates viewing, amusement and service.

Ornamental Garden of Flowers and Trees was built in 1995, covering an area of 25,000 square meters. It is a characteristic garden with ornamental trees and shrubs as the main tree species. Ornamental trees mainly include kapok, phoenix tree, Lagerstroemia speciosa, Prynne, Huang Huai, Erythrina, Magnolia grandiflora, frangipani and so on. Shrubs mainly include red apricot, Lagerstroemia microphylla, cordate telosma, canna, Mayingdan, red velvet ball and so on.

These flowering plants combine stick planting and spot planting to form a dense green landscape on the wide lawn. Visitors can fly kites on the open lawn and enjoy the flowers, mangroves, green trees, blue sky and white clouds and the cool breeze in the reservoir in the surrounding shade, which makes people feel relaxed and happy.
