Introduction of scenic spots in Kunming Cuihu Park

Cuihu Park, formerly known as Caihaizi, is located at the foot of Luofeng Mountain and Wuhua Mountain in Kunming, opposite the main entrance of Yunnan University. At first, it was a bay in Dianchi Lake, but later it became a clear lake due to the drop of water level.

Cuihu is an emerald in Kunming, with clear water, tree-lined and beautiful environment. Enjoy the reputation of jade in the city. Before the Yuan Dynasty, Dianchi Lake had a high water level and belonged to the small lake bay outside the city. There were many rice fields, vegetable gardens and lotus ponds, so it was called "Caihaizi". Because there are nine springs in the northeast, they merge into one pool, also known as "Kowloon Pool". In the early years of the Republic of China, it was transformed into a garden with willows everywhere and many kinds of lotus flowers in the lake, which was called "Cuihu".

Introduction:

Cuihu Park, with Cuihu as the center, runs through Ruandi from north to south and Tangdi from east to west, and divides Cuihu into five scenic spots. The scenic spots of Huxin Island are mainly Qing Dynasty buildings, such as Huxin Pavilion and Guanyulou. Lake Pavilion is also called "Biyi Pavilion", with beautiful eaves and yellow tiles. There are two inner courtyards in the museum, which are places for various exhibitions on weekdays. To the southeast are Shuiyuexuan and Goldfish Island.

To the northeast are Zhulin Island, Jiulongchi and Zhichun Pavilion. People gather here to sing folk songs on holidays, which has a unique interest. To the south are Huludao and Jiuqu Bridge; To the west is Haixin Pavilion. Willows are weeping on the banks of the embankment, lotus roots are fragrant in the lake, and pavilions on the island are dotted with beautiful and fresh green lake water.
