How should the flowers in the quadrangle be arranged?

Siheyuan is a courtyard form in the north, mostly paved with square bricks, and each opposite house has eaves and steps. Therefore, when planting flowers, we can consider (1) digging holes in the corner of the yard to plant woody flowers such as lilac, yellow thorn plum and crape myrtle. Between the corners, you can dig some bricks and plant some herbal flowers such as Guancao, Gladiolus, Cuiju, Dutch chrysanthemum or some bamboo and plantain. You can also build a small flower bed in the middle of the yard and plant a woody foliage flower with a spherical cap in the middle. You can plant your favorite flowers around according to your hobbies.

(2) Only the cross road with a width of 1 ~ 1.5 meters is left in the quadrangle, and all the other square bricks are dug up to form four small plots for planting flowers, which can plant different varieties of Chinese rose, peony and peony to form a special small garden.

(3) Some shade-tolerant flowers, such as Hosta, Purple Calyx and Iris, can be planted on the shady side where the sunshine is scarce.
