Huizhou Zhong Kai High-tech Industrial Development Zone (referred to as "Zhong Kai High-tech Zone" for short) under Huicheng District is named after being located in Mr. Liao's hometown. It is one of China 168 National Science and Technology Industrial Development Zones, which was approved by the State Council in 1992.

Zhong Kai High-tech Zone is named after Mr. Liao, a pioneer of modern democratic revolution.
