Comfortable sequelae of crossing Erlang's legs

Emotional crossing refers to children's habitual action of rubbing vulva, which is a neurosis of children. It can be seen that among one-year-old babies, 1-3-year-old girls are the most common.

The clinical manifestations of habitual cross-leg rubbing are as follows:

(1) The lower limbs are crossed and adducted or closely attached, and rubbing up and down is a leg rubbing action;

(2) Sometimes, a bath towel and a bed sheet are sandwiched between the legs, and one end of the bath towel and the bed sheet is held by both hands, and the lower limbs are flexed and rubbed, so that the perineal muscles contract and secretions are produced in the perineal area.

(3) Children are flushed, staring, breathing heavily, feeling masturbation, mostly masturbating, and refusing to be interfered by adults. This kind of friction is sometimes stubborn. It usually lasts for a few minutes or more before it stops. After the attack stops, I seem to feel very tired, and I can sweat on my head, forehead and whole body.

(4) Older girls can cross their legs on the back of the chair, the edge of the chair or other objects when they have an attack, and do repeated rubbing actions. Even in class or at home, you can rub yourself on the prominent edges and corners of furniture, such as the back of the seat of a bicycle, the corner of a chair and the armrest of a sofa, so as to get pleasure, and even reach the level of "unable to extricate yourself".

(5) Adolescent boys and girls have a similar situation. Because parents and children don't know much about this "disease", teenagers often have a strong inferiority complex, which affects the healthy development of adolescent children.

(6) During the attack, the sick child is always conscious, reacts normally to the surrounding environment and can be controlled by the will. When you get out of bed or change your posture, or divert your attention in other ways, you can often prevent an attack. Seizures usually occur under the same conditions, such as rubbing one's vulva before going to sleep or shortly after waking up or sitting up, and sometimes in the mother's arms.

(7) During or between seizures, the EEG is completely normal. The sick children have no symptoms and signs of organic damage to the nervous system. The prognosis is generally good and the intelligence is normal. Sometimes, according to the above clinical manifestations, diagnosis can be made without EEG examination.
