My own musical instrument store basically only offers guzheng courses, but erhu and pipa courses do not. One is that you can't find a teacher, and the other is more expensive. Parents will also consider this learning situation according to the price when choosing.

For example, in Guiyang, the class fee for a guzheng class is almost between 120- 150, and that for an erhu or pipa class is about 200, so many parents will not accept this price.

Also, many guzheng teachers attach great importance to the spread of guzheng. Coupled with the rise of the media, many teachers use the media to create their own personal ip, so they will also see a large number of guzheng teachers promoting guzheng in the market, which is not enough for erhu or pipa teachers (because there are few erhu and pipa teachers in the market), so few people naturally know.

Another is that many people in China don't know much about the national musical instruments of our own country, especially many parents just want to find a musical instrument to train their children, and even let their children learn guzheng even if they don't like it, just because they like it, but they don't have time to learn it. Not knowing much about musical instruments will lead them to think that learning any one is the same, and seeing other children learn guzheng will also be one of the reasons.

But for erhu and pipa, it is not so simple to learn, because I also learn pipa, which will be more difficult than guzheng. People usually reject some difficult instruments and have fewer natural choices. In addition, erhu and pipa teachers are hard to find, so few people learn.
