How to graft camellia?

1, Camellia oleifera grafting generally adopts branch grafting method, and the rootstock generally adopts Camellia oleifera. The rootstock can be pretreated, and 3 ~ 5 main branches can be selected as grafting branches, which are cut off and flattened before grafting.

2. When grafting, select the branches on the camellia mother plant that grow relatively vigorously and have no pests and diseases for grafting, and the bud eyes should be full and substantial. Cut the twig into small pieces, each with lateral buds, cut off half of the leaves on the twig, and then you can graft.

3. Cut the wood edge of the cross section of the treated rootstock directly downwards in a relatively smooth place, and pay attention to that the incision should be consistent with the splicing. Insert Jiehui into the rhizome, and the skin of the rhizome can be wrapped.

4. According to this method, several grafted branches are grafted on the rootstock and then bound. Plastic film can be used for binding and needs to be tied tightly.
