What were the assassinations during the Three Kingdoms period? Who died at the hands of an assassin and who survived?

Assassins are a special group. China has never lacked assassins for thousands of years. The most famous assassin in history was Jing Ke who assassinated Qin Shihuang. In the historical records, there are also biographies specially listed for assassins. Besides Jing Ke, there are Cao Mo, Zhuan Xu, Yurang and Nie Zheng, all of whom are famous assassins in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.

In fact, there were many assassins during the Three Kingdoms period, and a series of assassinations were carried out. In fact, the founders of the three regimes have all been assassinated, but some have succeeded and some have failed. Do you know any assassinations in the Three Kingdoms?

I attempted assassination 1. Wu Fu assassinated Dong Zhuo.

The Romance of the Three Kingdoms says that Cao Cao assassinated Dong Zhuo, but it didn't succeed. In fact, it is fictional in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and does not exist in history. The man who assassinated Dong Zhuo in history was Wu Fu, a captain and a native of Runan. After Dong Zhuo came to power, many people wanted to assassinate him, but few dared to do it, and Wu Fu was the first one who dared to do it.

In order to assassinate Dong Zhuo, Wu Fu wore official clothes and hid a dagger in his clothes. Beowulf went to see Dong Zhuo and was ready to leave after the meeting. Both of them walked to the door. Dong Zhuo caressed Beowulf's back with his hand. Beowulf took a dagger from his pocket and thrust it at Dong Zhuo. Dong Zhuo grew up in the border, knowing some self-defense skills, and naturally avoided it. Then Dong Zhuo called people around him to catch Wu Fu, so Wu Fu's.

The reason why Wu Fu assassinated Dong Zhuo is very clear, because Dong Zhuo did too many bad things, such as abolishing the emperor privately, poisoning the emperor and the empress dowager, and killing people and ministers at will. Everyone wants to kill Dong Zhuo for the people.

2. Xu He assassinated Cao Cao.

Xu He is a subordinate of Cao Cao, and his true identity is not recorded in the history books. He only knows that during the battle of Guandu, Xu United several people to assassinate Cao. At that time, Chu Xu was the general of Cao Cao's escort, responsible for safety work. With Cao Cao around, Xu didn't dare to start work.

Finally, once, he found an opportunity, and the transformation of Chu Xu changed. Chu Xu and others came to see Cao Cao with a sharp sword. Chu Xu is ready to go back to the camp to rest. Somehow, he suddenly returned to Cao Cao. He hasn't started work yet. When he saw Chu Xu turn around, his face changed greatly. When he found out that the situation was wrong, he immediately killed Xu and others and saved Cao Cao's life.

This is the only record in history that Cao Cao was stabbed. It can also be said that Cao Cao was so lucky that Chu Xu went back to rest and killed a comeback. Otherwise, Cao Cao found that someone wanted to assassinate him and stimulate the assassin, so he deliberately let Chu Xu go back. When the assassin appeared, he was killed by Chu Xu. Of course, this is all speculation and there is no historical record. If Xu succeeds in assassination, the history of the Three Kingdoms will be rewritten.

Xu, why did he assassinate Cao?

There is no record in the history books. It can only be speculated that Cao Cao was participating in the battle of Guandu at that time. There are two reasons that may be the reason why Xu assassinated Cao:

First, Yuan Shao secretly communicated with him. During the battle of Guandu, many ministers under Cao Cao secretly corresponded with Yuan Shao. It is not surprising that he colluded with Yuan Shao. Yuan Shao may also ask Xu to assassinate Cao.

Second, Cao Cao killed too many people, especially the massacre. For example, when Cao Cao attacked Xuzhou, he killed all the cities he occupied everywhere. This kind of behavior is disgusting, and some people can understand revenge for their loved ones. Maybe Xu's relatives were slaughtered by Cao Cao, so they wanted to assassinate him.

3. The plain assassin assassinated Liu Bei.

Dong Zhuo and Cao Cao are villains, while Liu Bei has always been the representative of benevolence and righteousness, but there have also been assassinations. This was when Liu Bei was in Pingyuan. A man named Ping Liu in the same county refused to accept Liu Bei and sent an assassin to assassinate Liu Bei. Of course, he met publicly. Liu Bei didn't care when he saw the assassin, but he summoned the assassin as an ordinary scholar.

You know, at that time, Liu Bei was the national phase of the plain country, the consul of a county country, and the assassin should have come to see Liu Bei as an ordinary people. But Liu Bei treated the assassin as a scholar, not as an ordinary citizen, but as a scholar with higher status, sitting on the same straw mat and eating in the same basket with the assassin. Liu Bei's behavior deeply touched the assassin.

The assassin told Liu Bei that he wanted to kill him and left. Then why did this Ping Liu kill Liu Bei?

This should not be Liu Bei's fault, but Ping Liu's. According to historical records, during his tenure as Prime Minister of Pingyuan, Liu Bei cracked down on thieves abroad, was kind at home, and loved the people like a son, but such behavior could not satisfy everyone. Later, when Liu Bei was in charge of Xuzhou, didn't Cao Bao, Xu Dan and others betray Liu Bei and take refuge in Lu Bu? Although Liu Bei is a benevolent man, there are always people who despise Liu Bei, such as Ping Liu. Ping Liu assassinated Liu Bei because he was dissatisfied with Liu Bei.

Second, the assassination success 1, Zhang Kai killed Cao Song and assassinated Liu Chong and Luo Jun.

"Wu Shu": Taizu welcomed the Song Dynasty, and the trench was more than 100 liang. Zhang Qian, a surname, was sent to lead two hundred troops to kill Song in Taihang Mountain, fly swords, rob property, and leave for Huainan. According to Wu Shu's records, Zhang Kai killed Cao Cao's father Cao Song, and Cao Song took refuge in Xuzhou in the late Han Dynasty. Later, when Cao Cao occupied Yanzhou, he wanted to welcome his father Cao Song into Yanzhou. Cao Song is very rich, and the family wealth has installed more than 100 cars. Zhang Kai made a fortune, killed Cao Song, robbed the property and fled to Huainan to take refuge in Yuan Shu.

In troubled times, it is very common to kill people for money. But Cao Song's death is recorded in different historical books. The story of the Later Han Dynasty and the Wei and Jin Dynasties all say that Tao Qian killed him. Regardless of this, let's look at Zhang Kai's assassination of Liu Chong and Luo Jun.

Liu Chong is the great-grandson of Liu Zhuang, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and the last great-grandson of Chen. It is to assist Liu Chong in managing Chen. In the troubled times at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Liu Chong pulled a team to defend himself with his bravery and superb archery.

At that time, Yuan Shu's influence developed greatly in Huainan, not far from Chen. Yuan Shu once lacked food, so he borrowed food from Chen, because Chen was rich at that time, but the rulers of Chen didn't want to borrow food, so Yuan Shu held a grudge, but Yuan Shu couldn't openly attack Chen, an authentic vassal state, so Yuan Shu used vicious means and sent people to assassinate Liu Chong and Luo Jun.

Yuan Shu sent Zhang Kai to do it. Zhang Kai pretended to pass by Chen. I don't know how he loved Liu Chong and Luo Jun and assassinated them, so Chen declined. The reason why Zhang Kai assassinated Cao Song was to get rich, the reason why he assassinated Liu Chong and Luo Jun was to obey Yuan Shu's orders, and Yuan Shu just wanted to express his personal grievances.

2. Xu Gong assassinated Sun Ce.

Sun Ce was the actual pioneer of Jiangdong regime and laid the foundation of six counties in Jiangdong. But because too many people were killed in the process of conquering Jiangdong, there were too many enemies. For example, one third of Lu Xun's family was massacred by Sun Ce, and Sun Ce finally obeyed Sun Shi, so he made too many enemies. Even Guo Jia, Cao Cao's counselor, saw the problem. Guo Jia thought that Sun Ce would die at the hands of the enemy sooner or later.

Sun Ce is going to take advantage of the confrontation between Cao Cao and Yuan Shao in Guandu, send troops to sneak up on Xudu and rob the Han Emperor. In the process of going north, one day Sun Ce was hunting in Dantu Mountain and met three assassins. All three assassins were followers of Xu Gong, who was once the satrap of Wu Jun and was later killed by Sun Ce. These three assassins assassinated Sun Ce.

Sun Ce is the first, and people are the last. Three men shot an arrow at Sun Ce. Sun Ce shot one of them, and the other shot Sun Ce in the cheek. Later, Sun Ce's entourage arrived and killed two other assassins, but Sun Ce also died of serious injuries soon. The reason why Xu Gong assassinated Sun Ce was to avenge his old master.

Zhang Da and Fan forcibly stabbed Zhang Fei to death.

Zhang Da and Fan Qiang were Zhang Fei's ministries, and they assassinated Zhang Fei. At least the process is how to assassinate Zhang Fei. It is not recorded in the history books. Because Zhang Da and Fan Qiang are Zhang Fei's ministries, if Zhang Fei doesn't recognize the assassination of Zhang Fei, there will be quite a lot of opportunities. Maybe they assassinated Zhang Fei when he was asleep, or maybe they assassinated Zhang Fei when he was drunk. Can only be a guess. Why did Zhang Da and Fan Qiang assassinate Zhang Fei?

Mainly Liu Bei's words. Liu Bei once said that Zhang Fei likes to whip his soldiers, and he also arranges these beaten soldiers to work beside him. Liu Bei reminded Zhang Fei that this would lead to disaster. Liu Bei actually means that it doesn't matter if Zhang Fei hits those people with a whip, but don't put these beaten people around and drive them away, and these people will retaliate, but Zhang Fei doesn't listen and is really beaten away.

After Zhang Da and Fan Qiang killed Zhang Fei, they took Zhang Fei's head and took refuge in Sun Quan. I wonder if there is any reason why Sun Quan is behind the scenes.

4. Guo Xun assassinated Fei Yi.

Guo Xun is a Liangzhou native, also known as Guo Bian, a corps commander of Cao Wei. He was captured by Jiang Wei in a Northern Expedition. After surrendering, he was named General Zuo. This position is not small. A commander with such a high position highly values Guo Xun, but Guo Xun has been reluctant to really surrender to Shu Han, but has been looking for opportunities to assassinate Liu Chan, but there has been no chance.

So Guo Xun gradually pointed the finger at Fei Yi, the general of Shu Han at that time. At an annual meeting, Guo Xun personally assassinated Fei Yi when he was drunk in Fei Yi. Fei Yi died on the spot, so did Guo Xun. As for why Guo Xun wanted to assassinate Fei Yi, there have been different opinions.

Some people think that it was Jiang Wei who ordered Guo Xunxing to assassinate Fei Yi, because Fei Yi has been restraining Jiang Wei's Northern Expedition, which caused Jiang Wei to lead no more than 10,000 troops at a time. After Fei Yi's death, Jiang Wei became a general and began to lead tens of thousands of troops to the Northern Expedition. No one binds Jiang Wei anymore. This makes sense, but it's not Jiang Wei's style. He instructed people to assassinate General Shu Han face to face. If this gets out, it's a felony to kill three families. Why does Jiang Wei want it?

Others said that Liu Chan ordered Guo Xun to kill Fei Yi because Fei Yi opposed the Northern Expedition, while Jiang Wei and Liu Chan supported the Northern Expedition because of their different political views, but Liu Chan was the emperor, and it was not like Liu Chan's style to send assassins to kill generals.

Besides, Guo Xun killed Fei Yi at the scene of so many people. Isn't that what happened to him? Which assassin would do this, this is mutually assured destruction, so Guo Xunxing's assassination of Fei Yi is hard to understand and a mystery.

5. Han Long assassinated Kirby.

Relatively speaking, Han Long and Kirby are strangers. Ke Bineng was the leader of Xianbei tribe in the Three Kingdoms period. At that time, Xianbei was in a state of division, with many different tribes attacking each other. But Kirby was a very successful tribal leader in Xianbei, and he rebelled against the Cao Wei regime from time to time. When Zhuge Liang was in the Northern Expedition, he sent someone to contact him.

During the Three Kingdoms period, Kirby had been waging a war to unify the Xianbei tribes, but it was always stopped by the famous Cao Wei Tian Yu. Later, Kirby was able to unite with another Xianbei tribe, but was defeated by Qin Lang led by Wei Mingdi. In order to completely solve the problem of the unification of Xianbei, Wang Xiong and the secretariat of Youzhou Cao Wei sent an assassin named Han Long to assassinate Kirby.

The history books do not record Han Long's life experience, nor how Han Long assassinated Kirby, except that Han Long succeeded in killing Kirby, Cao Wei prevented the unification of Xianbei tribes, and Han Long's ending was unknown. Finally, Cao Wei established Kirby's younger brother as the tribal leader. Cao Wei could not completely solve Kirby's problem militarily, so he took the act of assassination.
