1. It is not illegal to modify a car within a reasonable range prescribed by law. The filing process of vehicle modification is as follows:

(1) Before the vehicle is modified, the owner of the motor vehicle shall fill in the application form for registration of motor vehicle change, and submit a series of documents such as the identity certificate and photocopy of the owner and agent of the motor vehicle, motor vehicle registration certificate, motor vehicle driving license, etc. Go to the local vehicle management office;

(2) The vehicle management office shall, within three days from the date of acceptance, inspect and seal up the motor vehicles, confirm the motor vehicles, issue license plates, driving licenses and inspection marks, and only after approval can it be modified;
