Travel Notes of Bin County, Shaanxi Province

I have been in Binxian for more than four years, and I am deeply impressed by the famous Gongliu stone statue, the Jinghe River, which divides the north and south Sichuan tablelands from east to west, the tourist attractions of the Great Buddha Temple, which is known as the "Silk Road Buddha Capital" by civilization, and the coal fields rich in coal resources. The most unforgettable things are the leisurely trip to the Great Buddhist Temple, the stroll in Binta Square, and the special foods in Binxian, such as royal noodles, gazebo fried noodles, and guokui teeth.

When I came to the front of the Big Buddha Temple, the first thing I saw was two rows of green willows hanging down from the roadside, with soft branches like gold thread, and an ancient gatehouse with three gold plaques inscribed "Big Buddha Temple". After buying the ticket, you can enter the tour. There are some beautiful trees and green grass on the left and right sides of your eyes. There is a big stone in front of you, engraved with the golden font of "World Cultural Heritage Binxian Big Buddha Temple". Observe the ancient temple marked "Mingjingtai" in the distance, and the words "Qingshou Temple" are engraved on the pavilion of the ancient temple stacked on it.

It is said that the grottoes and shrines here were built by Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, to commemorate the soldier Fu Ying who died in the war with Xue Ju and Xue Gaoren (Binzhou Shallow Water Plateau). Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty renamed his adopted mother, Empress Liu, as "the Hall of Celebrating the Birthday" when celebrating her National Day birthday. People commonly call it the Big Buddha Temple because of its magnificent Buddha sculpture.

Go on, first cross the gravel road paved by modern people on the right, and you will see several stone tablets of different sizes. The inscriptions on them can clearly distinguish their contents and ages. Then go to the right, and you will arrive at the temple. The low-end stone cliff in front of the courtyard wall is engraved with red characters, recording all kinds of words of later tourists.

On the way back, after stepping on the steps of Mingjingtai from the right, you can see all kinds of Buddha statues in the grottoes with steep walls and deep holes. After entering the Thousand Buddha Cave, you can find that the Buddha statue is very vivid and exquisite. The only regret is that some Buddha statues are damaged, and their hands, arms, elbows, bodies, legs and heads are missing to varying degrees. I can't help but wonder if some lawless elements stole the Buddha's head for personal gain.

Further up, you can see the largest Buddha cave in the whole temple, and three clay statues of the Tang Dynasty. Siddhattha gotama in the middle is particularly majestic. Kind and dignified, with two earlobes and shoulders, square face and golden face, covered with sapphire bun, kind-hearted, scarlet and thick lips, cinnabar white hair between the eyebrows, left hand kneeling, right hand raised, palm outward, ring finger slightly bent forward. Looking at it, I can't help but think of the picture of the Monkey King doing a somersault in the hands of the Tathagata, which can't be photographed by the mobile phone. Dressed topless and bare back, worn around the waist, sitting on the lotus platform with dignity, the whole shape is solemn, majestic and vivid, which can be called the ingenuity and ingenuity of ancient craftsmen.

Guanyin Bodhisattva and the Bodhisattvas standing on the east and west sides of the Giant Buddha are slightly inferior to Gao Wei, wearing a crown of treasure, a gorgeous garland and a narrow skirt, with elegant and quiet demeanor. The statues of Buddhist niches in grottoes are diverse in shape, large in scale and beautifully carved, giving people a sense of beauty and dazzling; The statues of low-grade meat buns, Fiona Fang's face and plump body are mostly shirtless and elegant, like a song and dance, which also reveals Tang Wenhua's free and unrestrained customs and thoughts.

After visiting the Big Buddha Temple, my colleague Xiao He and I found a restaurant in the county. The back room is not very rich. As soon as we entered the door, we were greeted by a smiling and enthusiastic boss and sat down. We asked politely about the food we wanted. Seeing that there were many people in the shop, we hesitated. The boss immediately said, "I'll wait. It'll be ready in a minute." We each ordered a bowl of Tingkou fried noodles, then ordered an original special royal noodles, cucumber and peanuts, and two bottles of beer. Just a moment, please. Pure beer will be right with you.

After waiting for about ten minutes, the fried noodles are fragrant and hot, delicious, rich and not greasy, which is very suitable for my taste. In vegetarian dishes, it is also delicious to dip milky white and soft royal noodles in water. Don't drip. After eating a bowl of fried noodles and a plate of vegetarian dishes, I burped and my stomach swelled. After drinking a bottle of 9-degree ice (a kind of beer), my stomach suddenly swelled up and I burped two beers, which was a relief.

After dinner, I went for a walk in Kaiyuan Square. In the center of the wide square, there is a famous ancient temple tower that stands out. The tower is more than 50 meters high, octagonal, seven-story, hollow, and is a pavilion-style brick tower. There are six arched holes on each floor of the tower, alternating with rectangular fake doors, changing direction step by step. Fold the eaves and put a flat railing on the waist eaves, which looks tall and beautiful. There are steps in the tower, which can be circled and overlooked.

Ziwei Mountain in the rear has been transformed into steep stairs for tourists to exercise and express their feelings. In the evening, looking from the square, the lights of plants and trees in the whole mountain are colorful and dazzling in red, yellow, blue, purple and light. The lights of ten thousand steps turn and flicker, and the red characters at the top "Silk Road, Buddha Capital, Mountains and Rivers, Feng Bin" are changing, emitting gorgeous patterns of different colors.

Through the red lanterns in the square, the huge movie screen, the edge of the basketball court and the first-order platform square, we can see the masters of folk art who are strictly blocked by the crowd, and iron whip crackles in patterns, which are spectacular and majestic. Of course, there are also some recreational activities, such as shooting monkeys, spinning top and practicing boxing.

After climbing to the top, I was already sweating slightly. The evening breeze blew over the heights, which made me feel a little cold. My eyes widened and I suddenly felt relaxed. Looking down, you can have a bird's eye view of the square paved with broken bluestones, the green felt lawn of ooxx, the overgrown roof of the ancient temple, the sound of birds and wind chimes, and the prosperous county seat.

Standing on a high place, watching the dim lights in the county town, the smoke curling up and the pedestrians crowding their wives, I can't help but feel that I am watching the fireworks and the sky in the outside world.
