What kind of pavilion is Love Night Pavilion?

As far as architecture is concerned, Love Night Pavilion has a far-reaching influence on the pavilions in China, and it can be called a classic building among pavilions. For the love night pavilion, one word can be used to describe it, and that is "ancient". Love night pavilion has both ancient shape and ancient meaning, and is good at ancient fun.

Love Evening Pavilion is a typical classical garden pavilion in China. It has double eaves and four pyramid-shaped roofs, which makes the whole exhibition hall very spectacular and stable. The four-layer folded ceiling structure is called "pyramid roof", which uses four hypotenuse and condenses into a point towards the center.

The pyramid-shaped roof makes the whole exhibition hall have a centripetal cohesion, which is also the embodiment of Confucian thoughts such as "golden mean", "establishment" and "unification" in China ancient traditional culture, and also the embodiment of China traditional culture.

From the outside, Love Night Pavilion is steady but not heavy. Why? It turns out that our ancients came up with a very clever idea when they built the Love Night Pavilion.

Looking at the cornice along the four ridges, we can find that the cornice is upward, just like a bird spreading its wings or a butterfly dancing, which makes the pavilion feel light, lively and elegant.

In addition, the Danzhu, Biwahu, White guardrail and painted algae wells in Love Night Pavilion all reflect the quaint beauty of this century-old pavilion.

Aiwan Pavilion is surrounded by mountains on three sides, open to the east, with a vertical and horizontal height of 10 feet, and a green flowing spring. There is a pool in front of the pavilion, peach Liu Chengxing. Surrounded by maple trees, the mountains are covered with red leaves in late autumn.

Let's start with its ancient meaning. Chinese ancient architecture attaches great importance to geomantic omen, that is to say, it is necessary to study Yin-Yang and Five Elements, which is also reflected in the Love Night Pavilion.

Aiwan Pavilion is backed by Biluo Peak, the main peak of Yuelu Mountain, and there is a ridge winding down from left to right, overlooking the surging Hunan water ahead. This terrain conforms to the traditional four-phase layout in ancient China, namely Zuo Qinglong, You Baihu, Hou Xuanwu and Qian Suzaku.

And surrounded by mountains on three sides, the trees are lush and belong to wood. The stream is a coiled, semi-temple pond, belonging to water. The pavilion sits west and east, for fire. The pavilion stands high on the mound, and the strange stones are horizontal and belong to the earth.

There is only "gold" in the five elements of "golden wood fire, water and earth", so the pavilion is painted with Dan paint, and the five elements are complete, which is a great success.

In addition, Love Night Pavilion is a pavilion that has suffered a lot. In the past, Love Night Pavilion was devastated here. When Luo Dian built the Love Evening Pavilion, he made great efforts to repair it. He dredged waterways, planted flowers and trees, and made the Love Night Pavilion glow with vitality.

Later, the Love Night Pavilion was repeatedly destroyed and repaired, and it was not fully restored until the founding of New China. Love Evening Pavilion has now become a landmark building in Changsha, the ancient city.

Among the countless pavilions in ancient times, some were lyrical by predecessors, leaving famous articles, and some even became scenic spots because of the names of poems, which are still being recited today. Love Evening Pavilion is not only a dazzling stone bead in architecture, but also the couplets inscribed on the pavilion columns by poets and scholars in past dynasties are exquisite and unique artistic flowers, which make people interesting and pleasing to the eye, and at the same time make these pavilions icing on the cake.

One of the most famous couplets is Luo Dian's Love Night Pavilion, which reads:

The trail is red and comfortable in the evening, and 500 peaches are newly planted;

The gorge is dark green, and a pair of tame cranes are waiting in the cage.

The "mountain path" and "gorge cloud" in the couplets cut the scenery, the "late red" and "dark green" are in harmony, the "freedom" and "dripping" are vivid and vivid, full of picturesque poetry, and the image is still. 500 peaches is a rough figure. Since the beginning of the Song Dynasty, Zhu's "Daonan Zhengmai" has been a Neo-Confucianism school, in which more than 500 peaches have been planted.

This revised couplet depicts a beautiful, quiet, leisurely and peaceful scene in the Qingfeng Gorge. Here, the mountain path is approaching, new peaches are in full bloom, the red color is in contrast with the sunset glow, the clouds are lingering, the green color is about to drip, the cranes are tame, and people are waiting to return.

Couplets write scenes, but they transcend the scenery. The writer is hidden in the scenery. In the interdependence between man and nature, there is a harmonious relationship between teaching and learning, and between teachers and students. Very meaningful and admirable, and realized a certain philosophy.

Later, Luodian's favorite pupil Ouyang Hou came out of the mountain and wrote a couplet:

Remember to help the pigeon club here in Hongyu Road.

Deep in the white clouds, I want to recruit cranes and train them.

It is precisely because of these poems that the reputation of Love Night Pavilion has gradually grown, attracting countless literati and poets to visit the Love Night Pavilion and writing many wonderful poems. Ouyang Houji, a scholar in the Qing Dynasty, is famous for his "Seven Laws Love Yuelu Evening Pavilion". He wrote:

A pavilion is quiet, and the cool breeze by the gorge sends you a cool night.

In the past, peach blossoms were red and purple, but now maple leaves are dyed yellow.

Rao loses the spring scenery to the autumn scenery, welcomes the morning sun and sends the sunset.

It's four o'clock here. You can make good use of it. Who will invite cranes to soar?

In the poem, "a pavilion is secluded, and the fee is flat." The title was pointed out at the beginning, and the whole article was picked up. "One Pavilion" takes care of the "Love Night Pavilion" in the title, and "seclusion" is the location of the scenery around the Love Night Pavilion, which is just right and does not move a word. "Ping Zhang" is also a note. Although it is not easy to comment on the excellent scenery, the whole poem is a poetic comment by the author.

According to the Records of Lu Yue in the Ming Dynasty, "Summer is hot, the breeze comes, and many people rest." Love Evening Pavilion is located at the throat of the breeze, and the word "gift" is vivid and fresh.

"Peach blossoms used to be red and purple, but now maple leaves are red and yellow", and couplets are written as peach blossoms in spring and maple leaves in autumn respectively. At the end of the sentence, the words "red and purple" and "Dan and Huang" were pasted respectively, and the colors were bright and dazzling.

There are several peach trees by the pond in front of the Love Evening Pavilion. The poet uses the word "dou" to describe the peach blossoms in full bloom when spring comes.

Red maple is like fire. Liu Yuxi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, has long said that "autumn is sad and lonely since ancient times, and I say autumn is not as good as spring", and Du Mu has long said that "frost leaves are redder than February flowers".

The originality of this poem is that when praising the beauty of Qiu Guang, the upper and lower sentences are "right in the sentence", that is, "spring scenery" versus "autumn scenery" and "sunrise" versus "sunset". Their combination is a "flowing pair" of sighing, while in the two couplets of chin and neck, it is "fighting".

Ouyang Houji studied Oracle Bone Inscriptions of the state government for Yolanda, and finally studied Oracle Bone Inscriptions of Guidong County. He "preached, taught and dispelled doubts" all his life. He was not famous for his fame or poetry, but his literary talent was outstanding. Love Night Pavilion was even more famous for his poetry.

From the right behind the Love Night Pavilion, across the LAM Raymond Bridge, there is a small pavilion for tourists to rest. In the center of the exhibition hall, there is a cubic stone table with "Er Shinan Ke" on it. Before the poem, there is an inscription by President Cheng of Hunan University.

Poems carved in Ernan include Poems of Qingfeng Gorge by Zhang Mu in Song Dynasty and Poems of Nine Days in Yuelu Mountain by Li Xi in Qing Dynasty.

The full text is as follows:

In the autumn of Xuantong for three years, he made up the love pavilion, carved poems by Mr. Nan Xuan and Mr. Nan Yuan, collected Luo Hongyu's story, and wrote the word "flying crane" to visit Yongjia.

Process and record. Mr. Zhang Nanxuan's poem Qingfeng Gorge, "Help old trees to build dangerous ladders, how many times have you mentioned it now?" There is also a stone bridge for guests, with Lan Ruo and Yun Qi on its back; The wind gives birth to the shadow valley, the sun is fierce, and the sky looks neon. Since then, I have worked hard in the mountains, and I will take my rattan with me today.

On the 9th, Mr Qian Nanyuan rested in Shiyu, Yuelu Mountain, and found a story. When he climbed the mountain, Huang Juhua, a red dogwood, had a deep taste, and the cliffs were clean and beautiful. The North Sea Monument is in the sunset, and the South Pavilion is connected with the breeze. He was poor and reclusive, and counted several teams of woodpeckers.

Luoluodian mentioned in the preface of Stone Carving has been a lecturer at Yuelu Academy for 27 years. Sexy flying cranes. These poems have become the rich cultural heritage of Love Night Pavilion.
