How far is it from Huishan Baiyun Cave to the top of the mountain?

Wuxi Baiyun Cave Taoist Temple is located in Shimen, a famous scenic spot at the northern foot of Sanmao Peak in Huishan, Wuxi. It is said to be the treasure house of Shao Bao, the minister of rites in the Ming Dynasty, so there is a legend that "you have to wait for Shao Baolai to open the Shimen". So far, a large number of historical relics of Taoist culture have been preserved. When you arrive at Baiyun Cave, it is not far from the top of the mountain, and the journey is about 500 steps.

Baiyundong Taoist College was founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and destroyed in the Tang Dynasty. Lv Dongbin, one of the Eight Immortals in the Tang Dynasty (one of the five founders of Taoist Quanzhen School), practiced in a cave beside the Shimen until the apocalypse in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, so he carved a stone statue of Lv Chunyang and enshrined it in the cave (which still exists today). This cave is called "Baiyun Temple", which is full of incense, and a temple nicknamed "Wei Zi Palace" was built next to it.

There are the monument of the 26th year of Qianlong, the stone gate on the cliff, the domestic cola in Baiyun Cave, the Shuilian Waterfall in the original site of Zhang Xi 'an Temple, and the hidden wind stone, bridge stone, chessboard stone, immortal foot and other scenic spots.
