Over the years, more than 40 students in our school have won prizes in competitions at or above the bureau level every year, and the school has been awarded the titles of "National Middle School Students' Olympic Physics Competition Award-winning School", "China Physics Olympic Gold Medal School", "National Middle School Students' Biology Competition Gold Medal School", "Dongying Junior High School Teaching Demonstration School", "Dongying Education Informatization Demonstration School", "Dongying Top Ten Junior High Schools" and "Dongying Shengli Education Management Center Teaching Advanced Unit".

In the final of the 2006 National English Proficiency Competition for Middle School Students in Shandong Province, Liu Ziwei and Wang You, under the guidance of Teacher Zhao Zhenhua, won the excellent comprehensive ability award of junior middle school group, and won the best writing and best listening awards.

In 2007, Wang Yu, Guo Cheng and Hu won the first place in the fourth grade group of primary schools, and Liang won the second place in the fourth grade group of primary schools.
