Chaohu City is a county-level city managed by Hefei City, Anhui Province. The southwest bank of Chaohu Lake borders Feidong County of Hefei City, Quanjiao County of Chuzhou City, hanshan county of Maanshan City, Lujiang County of Hefei City and Wuwei County of Wuhu City respectively.
