But if you practice meditation and initiate the first meditation, if you are a girl, there will be no more menstruation, and if you are a boy, you will not reproduce the essence (unless you are married, you need to have children, and the Bodhisattva will not give up all sentient beings. Although you broke away from your desire in the first meditation, it's no harm to get married.

Menstrual blood is taboo on some occasions because many ghosts and gods in the world like to eat blood. Therefore, when women come to menstruation, they are most taboo to go to the Yin Temple or the sparsely populated places outside the mountain to avoid ghosts and gods. As for worshipping Buddha, it doesn't matter. Buddhists and bodhisattvas are merciful and won't worry about it, so just pay attention to cleanliness.

In addition, senior brothers and other scholars can refer to the Shurangama Sutra. Men produce sperm and semen because of lust. If they can't afford to have sex and stop having sex, they won't produce sperm (unless Bodhisattva gets married and has children, they still have sex), and so do women. If someone says that he has deep evidence of meditation, but he still has menstruation or nocturnal emission, it must be a bluff! Not to mention the Buddha!
