Caohai

Caohai, a national nature reserve located in the western suburbs of the county, is one of the three plateau lakes in China, alongside Qinghai Lake and Dianchi Lake. Known as the species gene bank, natural museum and bird kingdom, it has the reputation of the pearl of the plateau.

Northern tourist area

Located in the northern tourist area within the scope of Xueshan Town and Longjie Town, Caohai North.

Weining is one of the "Top Ten Pastoral Areas" in China, and is known as "the hometown of grassland animal husbandry in southern China". White lawn grassland is located in the high mountain area in the east of the county seat, with an area of more than 400,000 mu and an altitude of 2,400-2,800 meters.

Zhongshui site

On May 9th, 2006, the "Middle Water Culture" in Weining officially became one of the "Top Ten Archaeological Discoveries in China in 2005". Zhongshui site includes Jigongshan culture, Wu Jia Daping site, Hongyingpan cemetery, Yinzitan cemetery and Dahewan site.

In 2005, Zhongshui Site, which was rated as one of the top ten new archaeological discoveries in China, unearthed cultural relics, which filled many gaps in prehistoric archaeology in Guizhou, and its history was at least 2000-3500 years ago, providing a rare archaeological basis for studying the historical and cultural changes of Gu Yelang.

Yi nationality xiangtianfen

Xiangtian Tomb is a unique funeral custom of Yi people in southwest China. It is also known as the "three burials" of southwest ethnic minorities with "Yelang Burial" and "Bo People Hanging Coffin Burial", and it is one of the oldest and most unique funeral customs among ethnic minorities in China.
