The autumn dew in the evening washed the branches, and the brilliant flowers occupied all the time; The prosperity of spring breeze, peaches and plums has long gone, and the sunny sun is with me from late spring to autumn.

Appreciation of Osmanthus fragrans "Peaches and plums are silent, and the next step is self-made" comes from Sima Qian's Biography of General Li in Historical Records, which means that peaches and plums bloom brightly and beautifully, attracting people to watch them and making them step out of the path under the tree. Du Mu used this allusion in this poem, but he didn't think about it. Instead, he used peach blossom and plum blossom to compare the beauty and flowering period of Wei Zihua, which was very innovative.
