In the medical books of past dynasties, this disease belongs to the category of irregular menstruation, including late menstruation, irregular menstruation, prolonged menstruation, menorrhagia and oligomenorrhea. For example, the Song Dynasty's "Sheng Ji Zong Lu Women's Irregular Moon Water" said: "Those with irregular moon water have more or less menstrual blood, which is clear or turbid, or come early or late." In the Secret of the Ming Dynasty, Wanquan dealt with them one by one, that is, those who passed the first place before the deadline, those who passed the second place after the expiration, those who passed the second place in January, those who passed the first place in a few months, and those who failed amenorrhea. It set a precedent for premenstrual as a disease.
