How to trap and catch wild bees

Trapping wild Chinese bees means choosing places where bees like to nest, placing traps and letting wild bees fly in by themselves. Generally, it should be carried out in bee season.

The lure box should be placed in a place with dense trees, rich honey powder sources and good microclimate. The location should be easily found by reconnaissance bees. The trap box should be kept away from light, clean, dry and free from peculiar smell. It would be better if there were traces of used old wax in the box, which would be more attractive to bees. It is best to put the trap box in the back where there are natural attachments. The box is padded with stones to protect against wind and rain and wild animals, and appropriate nest doors are left.

Check the trap box every 3 ~ 5 days, especially after a long period of rain, natural bees are easy to separate, so check the trap box in time. After the wild bees enter the hive, they can close the door of the hive at night, move back to feed or borrow their spleen to cross the hive.
