Does yingtianmen need an ID card?
Yingtianmen, also known as Tianmen, is one of the famous "seven-day buildings" on the central axis complex of Luoyang City in Sui and Tang Dynasties, and is the south gate of Wei Zi Palace in Luoyang City in Sui and Tang Dynasties. Built in the first year of the great cause of the Sui Dynasty (605), the Sui Dynasty called it "Tianmen". In the first year of Shenlong (705), it was changed to yingtianmen and later renamed Wufeng Tower. After the Five Dynasties and the Northern Song Dynasty, it was called Wufenglou. Yingtianmen was an important place for the imperial court to hold important state celebrations and diplomatic activities at that time. Empress Wu Zetian, Tang Gaozong's imperial edict to release Baekje Fuyu Wang, and Tang Xuanzong's meeting with the eighth Japanese envoy to Tang were all held on the rostrum of yingtianmen, and their functions were similar to those of the Wumen Gate in Beijing now.
It was used successively in Tang and Song Dynasties. In the Sui Dynasty, it was called Zetianmen and Wei Zi Palace Gate, and in Zheng, it was renamed Shuntianmen. After Li Shimin captured Luoyang, the eastern capital, Luoyang was burned down because it was bigger than luxury goods. When Tang Gaozong and Wu Zetian were together, he rebuilt this gate (in 656 of Qing Dynasty), which became the main south gate of Miyagi. After Tang Gaozong's death, Wu Zetian, the only queen in China's history, succeeded to the throne, officially made Luoyang its capital, renamed it Shendu, and expanded Luoyang City. At this time, yingtianmen has become an important place for the imperial court to hold major celebrations and diplomatic activities. According to legend, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty received Japanese envoys from the Tang Dynasty here. In order to avoid his mother's taboo against Wu Zetian, Emperor Li of Zong Rui changed his camp to Tianmen, which is still in use today. It was called Wufenglou in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties. The East Capital consists of Guo Cheng, Imperial City and Miyagi. Miyagi and Imperial City are built in the northwest corner of Guo Cheng. Yingtianmen is the south gate of Miyagi. Yingtianmen was an important place for the imperial court to hold important state celebrations and diplomatic activities at that time. Wu Zetian proclaimed himself emperor, and Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty received four foreign envoys, including the Japanese ambassador to Tang Dynasty, and held state affairs here, which shows the important position of yingtianmen in the Tang Dynasty. Its gate is equivalent to the noon gate of the Forbidden City today, and its importance can be imagined!
Yingtianmen is far from the south of Dingdingmen, the south gate of Guo Cheng in Luoyang City in Sui and Tang Dynasties, with Li Fang District in the middle, which is connected by Tianjie. Willow trees are planted on both sides of Tianjie, and the scenery is beautiful.
