Gufoyan

Located in the southern suburb of Lechang City, the ancient Buddha Rock is a typical underground karst landform and a large karst cave.

The ancient Buddha Rock is overlapped in three layers, with the highest point of 30m and the widest point of 40m, with a total area of1.2000 square meters. The annual temperature is 18-20 degrees Celsius, which is warm in winter and cool in summer. It used to be named after the ancient Buddhist temple in Dongkou. Up to now, there are still "ancient Buddha cave" cliffs and Guanyin statues for tourists to watch. The main scenic spots of the ancient Buddha Rock are Jade Hall, Journey to the West Palace, Xiaoyao Palace, Ancient Buddha Hall, Guanyin Hall, Empress Dowager Hall and Jinlong Hall, which are collectively called the three palaces and four halls, with a journey of about 600 meters. Stalagmites, stone pillars, stone flowers and stone curtains in the cave look like immortals, or hang on the ground, and are cleverly carved into fairy stories by nature, which is amazing and dizzying. Among them, the "half moon", stone brain and submarine coral fossils in the cave 300 million years ago are rare in China.

Zuixian Cave is about 50 meters northeast of the ancient Buddha Rock. The two caves are adjacent to each other, which is a huge cave landscape newly developed. Drunk fairy cave is about 700 meters long, with big holes and small holes, which are connected with each other. There is an underground river, with flowing water, which runs through the whole process and has unique scenery.

Jinjiling

Jinjiling, located in Shiping Town on the Beijing-Guangzhou line, is one of the eight scenic spots in Guangdong and a typical Danxia landform scenic spot, with an altitude of 338 meters.

The cliffs around Jinjiling are as straight as knives, and the east and west passes are built with walls, which are strictly guarded by one person and cannot be forced by ten thousand people. There is a strange stone on the northwest peak, which looks like a rooster. It holds its head high and looks up at the north, making its neck want to crow, hence the name Jinjiling.

Jinjiling is magnificent, with lush trees and winding paths. Dozens of landscapes such as Jinji Stone, Ziyifeng, Paigang Embroidered Screen and Cliff Stone Carvings are picturesque. In the dead of winter, climbing mountains and enjoying snow is a kind of "northern scenery" in South Guangdong. According to legend, Hong Xiuquan, the sister of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, led the female soldiers to guard the ridge and fight against the Qing soldiers, leaving behind many sites, such as the point platform, the training ground, the martial arts platform, the weapon rock and the rice milling stone.

There are also elegant villas, conference halls, dance halls, restaurants and other service facilities. To the east are Paigang Shiping, Queer Mountain and Bird Plug, where you can watch the sunrise. There are Maozi Peak and Sister Stone in the west. Overlooking the sea of clouds, there is winding water under Nanling Mountain, which is the starting point of "the first drifting in the world" and can drift to Lechang City.

Chebaling Zhang Dongshui National Nature Reserve Shixing Chebaling Zhang Dongshui National Nature Reserve is located in Zhang Dongshui, Du Heng Township, 46 kilometers southeast of Shixing County, with a total area of 1 10000 mu and a forest coverage area of 6 10000 square meters, of which 17000 mu subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest is still in its original state and remains intact. It is one of the largest nature reserves in Guangdong Province at present.

Shixing Chebaling Zhangdongshui National Nature Reserve is known as "the treasure house of species and the pearl of Nanling". Abundant in animal and plant resources, rare animals include South China tiger, clouded leopard, water deer, black roe, pangolin, Sumen antelope and so on. Among them, there are 30 species of mammals, 25 species of amphibians and reptiles, more than 50 species of birds/kloc-0 and more than 2,000 species of plants. One of them, Cedar King, is 44 meters high and over 180 years old. It is the tallest and largest cedar found in Guangdong Province.

The climate here is mild, the rainfall is abundant, the forest is boundless, birds and flowers are fragrant, and it is a good place for teaching, scientific research and tourism.

Jiu Feng and Jiu Feng, located about 30 kilometers northeast of Lecheng, are named after nine peaks, such as "Samsung, Wuzhi, Xiangri, Yang Jiao, Horseshoe, Wei Zi, Qingyun, Taiyi and Yunzu". Beautiful scenery, lush ancient forests and the reputation of 18 caves in Jiu Feng are the fortress of Lecheng northbound. In the past, Huang Chao, Shi Dakai and the Red Army all visited here during the Long March.

Caotang along Xishan Mountain is located in Fengmen 'ao Valley of Jiufeng Mountain, about 25 kilometers north of Lecheng, with beautiful environment and fragrant flowers. It used to be the only way to the ancient Xijing Road, and there was a legend that "the civilian got off the sedan chair and the military attache dismounted". The structure of thatched cottage is made of bamboo, wool and iron sheet, which retains the original architecture and is an ideal choice for tourists to return to nature.

Nanhua Temple

Nanhua Temple is located on the bank of Caoxi, 7 kilometers southeast of Maba, Qujiang County, Guangdong Province, and 24 kilometers away from Shaoguan City. It is one of the famous Buddhist temples in China, and the birthplace of Huineng, the sixth ancestor of Zen Buddhism, who gave lectures here for 37 years. Its teachings spread all over the world, so Nanhua Temple is called "Zuting".

Nanhua Temple, built in the first year of Tian Jian, Liang Wudi in the Southern and Northern Dynasties (AD 502), has a history of 1480 years. Upon completion, the existing building area is 12000 square meters. There are Caoximen, Fangshengchi, Baolinmen and Tianwangbaodian in front of the temple. There are Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Daxiong Hall, Zhaitang, Sutra Pavilion, Zhaoling Pagoda, Ancestral Temple, Abbot Room, etc. There is Zhuoxi Spring (commonly known as Jiulong Spring) behind the temple. The temple is surrounded by lush ancient trees and a quiet environment. There are several ancient water pines 40 meters high behind the temple, which are rare trees in the world.

Daxiong Hall is the largest and most important ancient building in the temple, and it is an important place for the temple to hold religious ceremonies. There are three giant Buddha statues more than 8 meters high and four meters high Guanyin statues in the temple. There are five hundred lifelike arhats on all sides. There are precious historical relics in the temple, such as the true body of the six ancestors, the bronze bell of one thousand Jin and so on.

Nanhua Temple is now a key cultural relic protection unit in Guangdong Province. 1983 has been designated as one of the national key temples.
