The adult is about 6 ~ 7 mm long, gray-black, covered with spots and stripes connected with yellow-green scales, and there is a wide black horizontal belt from the middle to both sides. Eggs are ivory oval. Larvae is milky white, fat-free, with many transverse wrinkles, and its body length is about 5 ~ 6 mm after growth. Pupa is milky yellow, rectangular and about 6mm long.
