Brief introduction of Wei Zi Mountain Villa

The whole building of Wei Zi Villa fully embodies the characteristics of "Dragon House", one of the ancient architectural styles in China, and is as famous as Beijing Siheyuan. The biggest feature of the whole ancient architectural complex is that the mountains surround the water, the water surrounds the embankment, the embankment courtyard and the house surrounds the courtyard.

Where did the name of the new house come from? According to legend, the owner of Dragon House is Luo Youqi, whose ancestral home is in Jiangxi. During the five major migrations in Ming Dynasty, he moved from Nanchang to three provinces. According to the Luo Family Tree, when Luo Youqi first came, he was poor and lived in a hut, and was called a "guest" by the local people. Later, he worked hard, scrimped and saved, and gradually became rich. From 65438 to 0598, according to the fact that he had three sons, he recruited famous craftsmen from Hubei, Henan and Anhui provinces. It took five years to build a magnificent house at the foot of the mountain in three provinces. Compared with those low and old straw houses in the local area, it is completely new. So at that time, the locals called it the new house embankment, which has continued to this day.

The dragon house in the new house pays great attention to geomantic omen, paying special attention to the mutual cooperation and harmony of dragon, water and lattice. Longzhishan, water refers to the river, and lattice refers to the architectural layout. The main body of the new house dike is a northeast-southwest building, which embraces the sun in the shade, sheltered from the wind, with plenty of sunshine and wide vision. The architectural environment is divided and combined with the surrounding internal buildings, and finally an organic whole is formed. This closed circular pattern highlights the word wai. This circle closely protects a big feudal family, enabling them to take care of each other and live and work in peace and contentment.

The new house is 48 meters long from east to west and 1.68 meters wide from north to south, with a total construction area of 6,000 square meters, highlighting the word "shun". There are always 99 rooms at home, which are homophonic for a long time. The master intends to do this, as a symbol of wealth and longevity, which means never being satisfied and making progress forever.

There are 32 patios in the New Fifth Ring Road of the ancient building, all of which are rectangular pits about 1-2 meters deep made of granite. This pit is paved with pebbles. The strangest thing is that in these 32 patios, people pour water every day, but the water doesn't know where it went. Someone poured a lot of red water into the patio for experiments, but found that there was no place to flow out. It is speculated that there may be an underground river under the crust. Whether this is the case is still a mystery.

The theater building in the new house is shared by the whole house. On the left is the theater and courtyard, which are mainly used for weddings and funerals, and on the right is Roche Private School. It is said that there was an endless stream of scholars here at that time, from bachelor to Jinshi, all of whom came out of this private school.
