Appreciation of Narcissus Poems in Ode to Narcissus Five Rhymes

the Chen Dynasty

Immortals wear color, hair and clothes to flatter.

When young people argue with the land, they are independent of the east wind.

Blowing incense warms the room, and the shadows are clear and the day is late.

The silent fence falls in the shade, pavilions and expectations.

Who knows if the guests in the garden will give alms?

This five-character ancient poem was written in the third year of Gao Zongjian Yan (1 129). In the early spring of this year, the author lived in Yuezhou and borrowed the gentleman's pavilion in the backyard from the county magistrate Wang, so he called himself the Garden Duke. Put a hedge in the small garden, and daffodils are in full bloom beside the hedge. Apricot stamens, jade petals, blue flowers and leaves make up the fragrant and warm branches and shadows that blow independently in the east wind. How much this flower looks like a beautiful fairy! Therefore, the author wrote this poem in an anthropomorphic way, and the manuscript of this poem is still treasured in the Palace Museum.

The first rhyme of the poem: "The immortal wears colorful clothes, and clothes wear clothes." Write about the fairy's clothes: She is wearing a kind of barnyard grass color clothes and fur (barnyard grass is light yellow. Qiu is wearing a white silk skirt (clothes made of plain silk). It is very appropriate to compare flowers to flowers and petals to clothes. The second rhyme: "The struggle between teenagers will be unique." Write about the fairy's scarf and her manners. Kun, women wear scarves. ) The blue scarf falls gracefully on the ground, the east wind blows, and the beautiful fairy stands in the spring! The third rhyme describes the fragrance and moving beautiful image of the fairy. "Blowing incense into the hole is warm, and the shadow is too late." Yuezhou is on the east bank of Dongting Lake. At this moment, it is the time when Dongting is warm in spring. The fragrance blown by the fairy is in harmony with the air. Her graceful posture is playing lightly, as if intoxicated by the light of day, so the flow is slow. The fourth rhyme describes the fairy's feelings: "Silence falls in the shade, pavilion and period." She is quietly located in the deep place where the hedge falls, just like a peerless beauty in the valley, and also has the charm of a plum blossom-like beauty under the forest. She is slim and graceful, not striving for progress, as if she had an appointment with me, which brought me some comfort during my wandering journey. This is the author's idea, and also because immortals are always affectionate. The fifth rhyme is the end of the pen and the author's confession to the fairy: "Who knows that the guests in the garden can give true poems." The "visitors in the garden" in the poem is obviously the author's idea. Hui Zhen's is a story dedicated by Zhang Fusheng in Yuan Zhen's Biography of Yingying. The fairy is so in love that the guests in the garden can even give a poem "The Truth" to live up to this feeling!

Narcissus has been named for a long time. Potted plants are planted in most areas of the south of the Yangtze River. When they bloom, they look like Lingbo fairies, but in Xiangjiang area, there are many kinds of them beside hedges. Poets in the Song Dynasty chanted many poems about daffodils. The author's poems express her feelings of pursuing beautiful and fragrant things, and show that the noble and fragrant daffodils, although sometimes neglected in lonely environments, will be appreciated by their own noble people and will not live up to her youth.
