What is purple jade?

Purple jade is also called violet jade. The color is mostly lavender, with high transparency. Generally divided into royal purple, red purple, blue purple, violet and pink purple.

1, Royal Purple

It is a kind of rich and pure purple, with pure color and tone, generally high saturation and medium brightness, thus presenting a rich, attractive and elegant aesthetic feeling. In fact, this kind of purple is very rare and belongs to theoretical jadeite. Even in purple jadeite, it is difficult to find one of them.

2. Red and purple

This is a kind of purple that prefers the color of Hong Fei. Its color saturation is usually medium, and it is rare to see a type with high saturation. It is not common in purple jadeite, and its value is highly recognized.

3. Blue and purple

It is a kind of purple with blue, and its saturation varies greatly, from light blue purple to deep blue purple. It is a common type of purple jade, and the jargon is called "eggplant purple". When the saturation is high, the color often feels gray-blue, and the brightness is generally lower than other types.

4.violets

It is the most common commercial jadeite. Purple is from medium depth to light color. This purple color often appears in some jadeites with coarse or fine texture, and sometimes it appears together with green to form the so-called "spring band color", which is the standard color of violet jadeite.

5. Pink and purple

It is a kind of light purple, which can feel reddish or blue, but it can't reach the degree of red or blue purple. Although its purple color is still obvious, its saturation is relatively low. It often appears in some jadeites with good water head and delicate texture, and its commercial value is the lowest among all purple sands.
