Differences between Chifeng Dialect and Hohhot Dialect

Chifeng dialect is close to Chaoyang dialect in Liaoning, similar to Northeast dialect. Hohhot dialect is partly close to Yanzhou and Taiyuan accents in Shanxi, and partly close to Datong accent. Chifeng, one of the nine prefecture-level cities in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Hohhot, commonly known as Hohhot, formerly known as Guisui, is the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, located in the middle of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
