What color is crape myrtle?

Gray or taupe. According to the plant science network, Lagerstroemia indica is a common tree, and its color is gray or taupe. It belongs to Lysimachiaceae and is a small deciduous tree with a height of 7 meters. The bark is smooth, the branches are twisted and the branchlets are slender. The leaves are papery, oval, oblong or obovate, 2.5-7cm long and1.5-4cm wide, with red or purplish white flowers, 3-4cm in diameter and 6 petals.
