Who usually leads community activities?

Community activities are generally carried out by the leaders of neighborhood committees.

Residents' committees, referred to as neighborhood committees and community neighborhood committees, are the management organizations of grass-roots communities in Chinese mainland and the grass-roots mass autonomous organizations in Chinese mainland. Community neighborhood committees do not belong to government agencies, and their directors, deputy directors and members are directly elected by residents.

Community work service station is a specialized agency that undertakes government services and administrative management in the community, and carries out its work under the leadership of community party organizations and neighborhood committees.
