Sitting on a stone with one foot on the lotus is called Bodhisattva.

Free Guanyin. Most of these sculptures were created with reference to the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva in Song Dynasty in Shuanglin Temple, Pingyao, Shanxi. Guanyin was originally named Shuiyue Guanyin. She changed the habit of Buddhist statues standing upright or meditating. Her right leg squats, her left foot lightly steps on the lotus leaf, her center of gravity falls on her left hip, her right hand slightly lifts her left hand slightly, and she is unrestrained and free. Its posture highlights the smooth lines and graceful figure of Guanyin. People then forgot her original name and affectionately called her Free Guanyin.
