Where can there be clustered crape myrtle trees in Dujiangyan?

Wei Zi Screen, located in Qingxi Garden of Lidui Park, is made of several different kinds of Wei Zi, which is one of the treasures of Lidui Park in Dujiangyan. This Ziwei screen was planted in the Song Dynasty and formed in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. It is a rare bonsai treasure in western Sichuan.

Lagerstroemia speciosa: it is a shrub variety of Lagerstroemia speciosa, with smooth branches and massive bark falling off in autumn and winter. Branchlets slightly quadrangular. The leaves are opposite or nearly opposite, oval, entire, sharp at the apex, wide and round at the base, smooth and hairless on the surface, and hairy on the back of the leaves along the midvein. The flowers are conically clustered at the top of the branches, and the perianth is shriveled, bright red, pink or white. The flowering period is from July to September. The new fruit is oval, 65438-065438 ripens in February. The tree has beautiful posture, flexible branches and bright colors. It blooms in summer and autumn, and it is an important ornamental tree species in summer and autumn gardens.
