Comments:

This farewell poem is not a farewell to pavilions, but a step further, writing the hope of reunion after parting. This is beyond the general farewell poem. At the beginning, the farewell scene was hidden, and the feeling of going home after saying goodbye became stronger and stronger, paving the way for the meaning of expecting it to come again. So I thought that the spring grass was green again, but it was difficult to return to people. The feeling of parting is beyond words. Heart inside, taste outside, really ingenious, superior.

-Quoted from "Ultra-pure Zhai Shi" bookbest. 163.net Translation and comments: Liu Jianxun.

This poem "Farewell in the Mountain" did not write a farewell scene from the pavilion, but was ingenious and chose a completely different point from ordinary farewell poems.

The first sentence of the poem, "Friend, I have watched you go down the mountain", tells the reader to say goodbye at the beginning, and uses a seemingly unemotional word "ba" to brush off the farewell scene and feelings. Here, from farewell to sending away, we skipped for a while. The second sentence, "I still closed my thatched door until now", was written during the day when pedestrians were sent away, and it took longer. What are the feelings and thoughts of the people who saw me off during this time? When the poet cuts life into poetry, he cuts it all out as a dark field.

Anyone who has experienced parting knows that the moment when pedestrians are about to leave is really depressing, but a sense of loneliness and disappointment often becomes more and more intense in the evening after parting. There must be a lot to write in this most difficult moment of parting and sorrow; But only one gesture of "Gai Chai Fei" is written in the poem. This is a very common thing that mountain people do at dusk every day, and it seems to have nothing to do with the farewell during the day. The poet links these two unrelated things together, so that the repeated actions every day show different meanings from the past, thus expressing feelings between the lines and seeing sadness between the lines. Readers will see the lonely expression and melancholy mood of the people in the poem; At the same time, I will also think: Night falls after sunset. After the closure of Chai Men, how will this long night be spent? The blank left outside this sentence makes people daydream infinitely.

The third and fourth sentences of this poem "The grass turns green again in spring, but what about you, my friend Prince?" It comes from the sentence "Wang Sun wanders without return, spring grass grows flowers" in "Songs of the South to Recruit Hermits". However, Fu lamented that the wanderer had been gone for a long time, and these two poems would never come back when they broke up with pedestrians. Tang Ruxun summed up the content of this poem in the Interpretation of Tang Poetry: "The title of the poem is hidden in the dusk, and people think far; Sometimes the grass is green and pedestrians are hard to return. " And "difficult to return" is one of the reasons for "deep thinking". As a question, "return" should have been raised to pedestrians at the time of parting, but it floated to people's hearts here when pedestrians had gone and closed at dusk, becoming a suspense that no one cared about. This is not the usual farewell speech, but the heartfelt expression after "farewell", which shows that the people in the poem are still shrouded in thoughts until dusk. Although I just broke up, I am looking forward to coming back soon, but I am afraid that I will not come back for a long time. As I said before, there are two periods from farewell to farewell, from "farewell" to "shielding Chai Fei". Here, I bid farewell to the evening of Sunday, think of the spring grass in the coming year, and ask if I will come back then. This is another jump from now to the future, and the jump time is longer.

Wang Wei is good at extracting seemingly ordinary materials from life and expressing deep and sincere feelings in simple and natural language, which is often fascinating. This poem "Farewell in the Mountains" goes like this.

Appreciation of Wang Wei's farewell poem I dismount, I propose a toast to you;

I got off the horse, poured you wine and asked where you were going and why. You said you would go back to Zhongnanshan because you were not proud of your life. Just left, I want to ask again, look at the white clouds floating.

Wang Wei, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, is known to most people for his understanding of Buddhism. In many of his poems, he has a sense of Zen and tranquility. But in some of his poems, there is a taste of pottery, that is, his farewell poem "I dismount and I propose a toast", which has a strong taste of pottery.

Zen is a delicate feeling of emptiness, emptiness and wisdom in poetry. Therefore, many people pay great attention to the rhythm and antithesis of poems with strong Zen meaning, so that the form of poems is exquisite, and then the artistic conception is antithetical, so as to make the poems spiritual and as exquisite as moonlight. Because Buddhism is mainly to cultivate people's self-cultivation from the heart, the artistic conception of general poetry has some kind of closure, in order to make the artistic conception extremely exquisite in this closed environment. On this basis, it can purify the mind and lead to Zen. Take the poem "A ray of light at the foot of my bed" as an example. The artistic conception of this poem is relatively closed, but the moonlight falls on the bed, which evokes homesickness. The whole poem is exquisite, and its environment is only a moonlight in front of the bed. In the poems that rely on bamboo alone, the scenery is also closed, only one scenic spot is chosen, and then the surrounding things are blurred. Take the mountain as an example. Although this poem mentions the daytime, mountains, the Yellow River, the sea, buildings and so on. , seemingly far away, but its artistic conception is still closed, and finally got a fixed building. And it has become a mystery poem, which makes the poem tasteless and rational.

However, this farewell poem by Wang Wei is not the case. This poem, written in plain language, describes a very subtle plot in life, but its artistic conception is infinitely far away. At first, I just met my friends on the roadside, drank at the same time, and then asked questions, and my friends answered, but the meaning was ambiguous. I don't know if this poem is harmonious, but the whole poem is not antithetical. Every sentence is written flatly according to the development of things, without a trace of poetry, so this poem naturally comes. Although it comes naturally and casually, the poem has a strong flavor and infinite meaning. If we classify poems, I think this poem should be regarded as a narrative poem, because every sentence is a written poem or the natural words of the characters in the poem, but it is these sentences that embody a lot of content. Only in Wei's other poems, this poem was also painted in a poem, and the scene of this painting was not deliberately chosen by the author, but met at the right time. Dismount and drink, ask and answer, pointing to the distant mountains, misty. This poem also shows feelings, the bitterness and joy of meeting friends, the concern between friends, the frustration of friends, and the endless sigh and sadness of white clouds passing by. And these are all from outside the poem, but they are contained in the poem.

Come back and talk about the connection with this poem. & gt China's Tao advocates a kind of inaction thought, a kind of thought taken from nature, a kind of thought without artificial carving, a kind of endless thought, a kind of thought born for prosperity, and finally a kind of thought that leads to seclusion. This poem comes from a fragment of life, which is natural and uncut and can be memorized at will. This is the characteristic of this poem's natural inaction. It is because of his inaction that the story ends with a question, but more because this kind of non-question brings more thinking, thus forming an endless white cloud passing there. White clouds are boundless, life is ethereal, and the mind also feels a kind of smallness and weakness. What I feel is the complexity and discomfort of facing the world, as well as the endless green hills and endless white clouds of nature. Faced with these, people feel the grandeur of everything in the world and the wonder of natural variation. So as to integrate into the endless changes of nature, become the molecules of the world and nature, and participate in the changes of the world and nature. This feeling enters the mystery of Tao.
