The names given to the stars by the ancients made me feel very poetic.

In ancient China, the sky was divided into three walls and twenty-eight lodgings.

Among them, wall means wall, and each wall is like two walls enclosing a small sky area. Accommodation is the place to sleep, symbolizing that the moon stays here every night, and every place is like a small town with different styles.

These three walls were named Ziwei Garden, Taiwei Garden and Tianshi Garden respectively.

Ziweiyuan is a three-dimensional middle wall, located in the center of the northern sky, so it is also called Guanzhong or Ziweiyong. Wei Zi Palace means Imperial Palace, and ancient astronomers in China thought it was the imperial palace in the sky. Most stars are named after emperors and courtiers.

Taiwei Courtyard is the upper wall of Sanyuan, located in the lower northeast of Ziwei Courtyard. Too small is what the government means, and star names are often named after official names.

Shi Tian Wall is a three-dimensional lower wall, which is located in the southeast direction under Wei Zi Wall. Shi Tian is a market in the sky. Stars are named after commodities, measuring tools and markets, and place names are also widely used.

Twenty-eight lodges are mainly distributed in the ecliptic, with uneven span, and are divided into four star areas, called four elephants, and each of the four elephants has seven lodges, called:

Seven nights in North Xuanwu: fighting, cattle, women, air, danger, houses and walls.

Seven Nights of the Oriental Black Dragon: Jiao, Kang, Bian, Fang, Xin, Wei and Ji.

South Suzaku Seven Nights: Well, ghosts, willows, stars, Zhang, wings, birds.

Seven nights in the West White Tiger: Kui, Lou, Wei, Chang, Bi, Gou and Shen.
