What should I do if I only want the header of the first page in word and don't want the header after the second page?

In word, all pages default to a section, so their page formats are the same. If you want the header settings on the first page and the second page to be different, you must first insert a section break to divide the document into two parts, so that only the first page can have a header.

1. After opening the file, move the cursor to the end of the first page, and then select Page Layout-Delimiter-section break-Next Page in the toolbar, so that the first page and subsequent documents have been divided into two sections, and then you can set the header.

2. Select Insert-Header in the toolbar and select the appropriate header style in the drop-down window.

3. After inserting the header, you can see that the words "same as the previous section" have been added to the lower right corner of the header on the second page, indicating that the page has been split successfully.

4. Click the "Connect to Previous Title" button in the toolbar.
