Can learning Buddhism change your destiny?

Master your own destiny with the law of cause and effect. Author: Dazhen Kampo

Destiny can be changed, and everyone can change their own destiny. But it is up to you to change your destiny, not others. Some sects say that fate is doomed and cannot be changed; Some sects say that fate can be changed, but it must be changed by external gods. The Buddha denied these views. Buddha said: You are your own master, and you are the master of your own destiny. Happiness is created for yourself, and pain is also created for yourself.

Many people feel that they are very kind, have never done evil deeds or made mistakes. However, because we have no wisdom, we think that the good is not necessarily good, and we think that the bad is not necessarily evil. The standards of good and evil are all in Buddhism. What is good, what is evil, and how to choose it are clearly stated in Buddhism. So when we choose between good and evil, we need to compare with Buddhism.

Buddhism is like a mirror. Only by comparing ourselves well can we know our shortcomings. Buddhism is like a scale, weigh it carefully; I don't know how much I weigh. Only when we measure ourselves by the standards of Buddhism can we find our real problems; Only by changing yourself with Buddhism can you really change your destiny. Actually, I did all this myself. Change yourself and everything will change. The Buddha said, "Ideals exist, but knowledge changes." When your heart changes, everything will change at will. It's really incredible! It's all karma, karma feels.

The six divisions in Wheel of Karma and Three Causations are very important, from which all Buddhist thoughts are established. If you don't understand cause and effect and reincarnation, you can't understand Buddhism. If we really believe in causality and reincarnation, there is nothing hard to think about and understand. If it is the cause, if it is the result, no one will hurt you, no one will cheat you, no one will worry you, no one will make you suffer. They are all made by themselves, and they are all their own karma.

The "three-life cause and effect" mentioned by Buddha is the law of nature. "As you sow, you reap." Doing good deeds can get good results; If you do something bad, you will feel the consequences. When you are feeling the consequences, you should not blame others, you should blame yourself for creating such a bad business. Therefore, it is very important to know and correct mistakes. Repentance is the process of recognizing one's mistakes and correcting them. You know your mistakes and regret them, so that you can destroy bad karma one after another. Your continuation was clean, but it was dirty later. Now, if you want to restore the original state and return to the original state, you must correct your mistakes and swear from the heart. From now on, you will never make such a mistake even if you encounter difficulties, so as to change the cause and effect and change your destiny.
