Zunyi City, located in the north of Guizhou Province, is an important area for the comprehensive development of the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the economic zone in central Guizhou. It is the core and main corridor of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone, the bridgehead, main position and pioneer area of cooperation between Guizhou and Chongqing, and an important transportation hub for southwest China to undertake north and south, connect east and west, and reach the sea through rivers.

Meitan is located in the southeast of Zunyi, more than 70 kilometers away from Zunyi. It is the hometown of famous tea in China, located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, at the southern foot of the Dalou Mountains and on the north bank of the Wujiang River.
