In our daily shooting, we may shoot news works, or we may shoot humanistic documentary works, or we may create humanistic and artistic works.

The authenticity of news documentary photography has two points: 1. The event itself is real; 2. photos can't be faked. We can understand documentary photography as the talk of correspondents and artistic photography as the talk of poets.

Of course, photography is definitely inseparable from the later stage. In documentaries and news photography, a later stage is allowed. At this level, only color recovery, contrast adjustment and cropping are allowed. Decontamination, adding content, HDR, multiple exposures and changing light and shadow are not allowed.

Compared with documentary and news photography, there is more room for artistic and humanistic photography in the later period. Artistic and humanistic photography works can be done later as long as they do not violate objective facts and conform to aesthetic laws. But it is not allowed to put works of art into documentary competitions.
